Last month, myself and Georgina went on a little trip to London to get the lowdown on all the new trends and collections for 2015. And we were not disappointed. One of the very best shows had to be the Elizabeth Stuart runway show, the first exclusive reveal of ‘The Enchantment of the Seasons Fall 2014’.
It was the most organised, beautiful, modern, exciting and yet strangely relaxed runway show I have possibly ever been to. Sitting FROW, (ahem!) I was in awe of her beautiful gowns. No change there then. Elizabeth uses the most luxurious fabrics, and cuts dresses in the most flattering ways. Aaah to be able to wear her wedding dresses every day. The show, at B1 Victoria House, London, was beautifully styled by Penelope Cullen, of Love Scarlett Blog. A pretty cool co-lab.
One thing I noticed, which isn’t a big deal to most, is the use of the same models from previous shoots and events. Loyalty. Consistency. Something I love. And did I mention her support of Cancer Research UK? Legend.
On a final note, the champagne, the diet cokes with LIME (something I dove into myself having to be champagne free for the next few months!) the canapes, the cake pops, and finally, the goodie bags everyone was given, were amazing. Elizabeth Stuarts attention to detail at her runway shows, definitely match her attention to detail in her dresses. It’s the little things, really, it is. Add to that, that Elizabeth Stuart, is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. And I give a well deserved 10/10 to Elizabeth Stuart.
